Introduction to My World
Hello there! If you’ve stumbled across my videos or posts, you know I’m not your typical success story… yet. As a low-income mom grappling with ADHD, BPD, and chronic pain, getting through a day is a feat in itself. But here I am, audaciously setting my sights on becoming a millionaire within the next decade. Yes, it may sound far-fetched, especially with my ADHD/BPD making every ambition seem like a flight of fancy. But here’s the thing: every wealthy person I’ve admired has one thing in common—a mindset tuned for prosperity.
“True wealth isn’t measured in numbers in a bank account, but in the steps we take towards realizing our dreams, no matter where we start. Every step forward is a step towards transforming not just our lives, but the lives of those who follow.”
Breaking the Myths of Wealth
Many believe in the old mantra: work hard, save every penny, and a comfortable retirement awaits you. But I want more. I’m not after a ‘comfortable’ retirement; I’m chasing generational wealth, the kind that not only changes my life but also shapes the future for my children and theirs.
Eye-Opener: Rich Dad Poor Dad
The eye-opener for me was Richard Kiyosaki’s “Rich Dad Poor Dad.” The book debunked the myths we’ve been fed, revealing how countless individuals exhaust themselves for a retirement that leaves them too worn out to enjoy. That’s not the future I envision.
Rethinking the Path to Wealth
So, for the past couple of years, my husband and I have been brainstorming paths to wealth that go beyond his forklift job or my potential earnings as a web developer. The 24-hour limit in a day, after all, caps what we can earn in traditional jobs. And those with multiple incomes? They’re just hopping from one job to the next, sacrificing family and personal time in a never-ending rat race.
The Strategy: Building Passive Income
The first step, I believe, is to generate extra income through side gigs, then strategically invest that surplus into avenues like real estate, stocks, or starting a business—essentially, building streams of passive income. The end goal? To break free from the 9-5 grind.
“In the journey of personal growth, our greatest assets are determination, resilience, and the belief that we can rise above our circumstances. The path to success is paved with the bricks of our challenges, transformed into stepping stones through the power of our mindset.”
Choosing the Right Path
There’s no shortage of passive income ideas—content creation, blogging, vlogging, affiliate marketing, and more. But the right path? That hinges on passion and commitment. I’ve decided to commit a full year to content creation, targeting people like me—those starting from scratch but yearning for more.
Becoming a Living Case Study
This journey is an experiment, a living case study. Can someone from humble beginnings, armed with nothing but determination, truly make it as a content creator, as so many gurus claim? I’ve been lured by expensive courses promising fame and success, only to find that few hold any substantial value.
My Mission and Vision
So here’s my plan: I’ll create content that resonates with me, hoping it strikes a chord with like-minded individuals. People who, despite the daily struggles with family responsibilities, health, or mental illness, refuse to be defined by their limitations. My aim? To help low-income moms, especially those battling mental health challenges, break free from the confines of their circumstances.
The Road Ahead
The road ahead is daunting, especially with ADHD making consistent dedication a herculean task. But if I can make even a dent in my ambitious goal, then truly, anyone can.
An Invitation to Witness My Journey
Whether you choose to stick around for my story or not, I invite you to bookmark this page and check back in a year. We’re just in January, and with no concrete plan, I’m pretty much winging it. Success is uncertain, but the hope of inspiring others like me is what drives me forward.
The First Step: Mindset Overhaul
My first challenge is to conquer my negative mindset and focus on manifesting a better life, not just for me but for my family, with God’s will. I invite you on this journey, a testament to what sheer willpower, faith, and a bit of audacity can achieve.
